Act Structure: 3 Acts (Do not indicate where the act breaks occur in your screenplay.)

Font: 12 Point Courier, Courier New or Courier Final Draft

Spacing: Single

Margins: Standard 1 inch from page borders (Your script writing software will take care of this.)

Page Count: 120 pages are standard for dramas. Comedy and horror should not be more than 100 pages.

Film Standard Page Counts

  • 120 Pages for Dramas
  • 90-100 Pages for Comedy and Horror
